Vanessa is the most amazing host. She will go above and beyond to make sure you have all the amenities you need for your stay. She is very knowledgeable of the area with great recommendations. I absolutely loved my stay at this beach house! The space is so open and inviting, with plenty of different areas to hang out, both indoors and outdoors. Everything was super comfortable and clean, which made it even better. As a girl, I have to say I especially appreciated the little touches like makeup removal towels and large mirrors—such a rare find and so thoughtful! They provided coffee, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook or grill. The location is perfect, right next to Belmont Park. I was able to walk to a great restaurant for dinner and then walked to breakfast the next morning—so convenient! I also felt completely safe, and it was so peaceful and quiet, which made it the perfect getaway spot. I’ll definitely be staying here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-thought-out beach rental!
Our family of 5 stayed at Sunrise on the Bay in December 2024/January 2025. We have stayed on Mission Bay previously and liked the lay-out of this property more than the previous place - it is very spacious. Parking is outside, so a lot easier than some of the garages in the area that you need to squeeze into. The washer/dryer were easy to use as well. Great location for 3 active boys (ages 11/9/6) - there is a kayak, sand toys, sports balls - you are right on the beach and a are short walk from the ocean, a fun playground, and Belmont Park. We like to stay on the Bay where it is a little quieter and less crowded, yet we were minutes away from the ocean as well. Local coffee shop and bakery not far away for a morning walk. Easy to get to the airport, zoo, downtown, etc. Very clean property (cleaner than others). We would definitely recommend this property to others.
